the more I realize just how much more there is to learn.
After many years of being interested in food and wine, I started writing this blog in 2010 after taking a wine class with a friend that was opening a wine bar. One class led to another and the writing continued.
A decade later, I am still at it. I now have a regular wine feature in a local monthly printed magazine and I also freelance into other publications as well, both locally and on other on-line websites.
I am very active in the Houston wine scene. I have been a wine judge for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo International Wine Competition for nine years. I have been on the Houston Chronicle Tasting Panel for almost four years. I attend as many wine seminars and events as I can to stay on top of what is available both out in the world and in my city now.
I am always looking to travel to both new and familiar wine destinations to learn even more.
Thank you for reading!
